| Debbie
Devine, Theatre Artist/Educator Debbie Devine is a co-founder of 24th Street Theatre, where she is the Artistic Director. She has been at the forefront of Youth & Family Theatre for over a decade as the founder and artistic director of one of L.A.'s most acclaimed theatre companies, Glorious Repertory Company. She has won numerous theatre awards for her work in the theatre as an actor, director, and producer. Debbie heads the Drama programs at the prestigious Colburn School of Performing Arts, Poseidon School, and the STAR enrichment program, and has taught at Cal Arts, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, for the California Arts Council, and literally hundreds of California schools. Debbie was awarded the 1999 Innovation and Leadership Award in Arts Education by the USC Rossier School of Education. |

Steve
Markus, Media Managment Consultant
Steve Markus is a software consultant to film studios in the US and Europe. He has been a participant and supporter in the arts in California and New York since 1982 when, with some colleagues from the American Conservatory Theatre, he helped found the Los Angeles Performers Theatre. He has produced, designed, directed and appeared in dozens of plays since then. He served on the board of the Pacific Resident Theatre for six years and stood in as Executive Director there for two. Mr. Markus has been on the Board of Directors for 24th Street Theatre since 1998. Working for 24th Street has been a tremendous opportunity for me to participate in something beautiful, beneficial and lasting, Mr. Markus says. |

Chaz McEwan (Board President) Chazs career has been in the field of Arts and Entertainment since he graduated from Evergreen State College in 1978. He trained and worked as a performer. He has been a Technical Director, Production Manager, Stage Manager and a Company Manager. He is proud to have opened the Los Angeles Theatre Center in 1985 with that very passionate, able and talented crew. He joined Walt Disney Imagineering in 1989 where he gets to work with world-class managers, engineers, artists, designers, architects and technical wizards who realize the great Disney Theme Park and Resort projects. He has had the opportunity to work in many places with Imagineering, including a six-year stint at Disneyland Paris. Chaz is grateful to be able to collaborate with Debbie, Jay and the rest of the Board to further the mission of the 24th Street Theatre, that wonderfully special place where youth can create, teachers can learn and artists can ply their craft. |

Robert Scales, Theatre Consultant and retired Dean of USC School of Theatre Robert R. Scales, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus, Dean 1993-2002, University of Southern California School of Theatre. Fellow of USITT and has held positions in consulting and/or technical production and lighting design at professional theatre organizations including Theatre Projects Consultants, McCallum Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Missouri Repertory Theatre, Stratford Festival Theatre of Canada and Guthrie Theatre. He has taught at several institutions including Yale University, University of Minnesota, University of Washington, Hardin-Simmons University, Banff School of the Arts and University of Missouri at Kansas City. |
