In
front of a near-sellout rambuncious crowd, Commedus Interruptus,
USC's offical improv and sketch comedy troupe, shook 24th
Street Theatre with 60 minutes of classic sketches and crowd-pleasing
games.
Before
Commedus took the stage, USC alum Joe Napolitano had the crowd
rocking before the clock struck midnight. Napolitano played
a 25-minute set of hits on piano and guitar, including the
popular tune "Jet Set Girl." 24th Street Theatre's
own Joy Nash, the host and also a USC alum, opened the inauguaral
"Midnight Hour" show with a martini in her hand
and enough energy to light a city.
The
next "Midnight Hour" show is Saturday, Oct. 2 at
midnight featuring Daphne the Painted Lady, a rockin' band,
and a surprise musical guest. Admission is only $5. Cick on
the description to the left for more information.
See
you at midnight!
