2. Teatro Nuevo screening
We’re thrilled to be presenting another event from our Teatro Nuevo, Latino Theatre Initiative. On Feb. 21st, 6pm, we’ll be screening Los Desaparecidos, a gripping short film from the Chicago Latino Film Festival. The film stars Richard Azurdia and Alejandro Patino (both from our 07/03 Tropical America production). Azurdia and Patino, along with the film’s producer and director, Jefferson Bonar, will be here to greet audiences and answer questions. This is a Free community event sponsored by the City of Los Angeles’ Dept. of Cultural Affairs. (Gracias CAD) No reservations needed. We will also be featuring Latino visual artists and musicians before and after the film. It will be a night of latinismo: una noche de arte y cultura latina.
