2. Come play softball with us!
Ten LA theatre companies have started teams to form the first-ever LA Theatre Softball League! 24th Street plays the inaugural game Sunday, June 13 at 11am, so we need you! Yes, you--24th Street audience members, actors, writers, teachers, designers...all are welcome to come and play. Don't worry if you're terrible at sports, we are too...but it's all in the spirit of community and fun. We'll laugh with you, not at you and you'll get a stylin' 24th Street Theatre t-Shirt. Games are only on five mornings (Saturdays and Sundays) in June and July at a field in Sherman Oaks, just off the 101 freeway. Email one of our Team Captains -- Nic Arnzen or Rob Kurland if you wanna come play in a game or two...or five. If you absolutely don't want to play, please come be in on the fun--cheerleaders and fans are welcomed. This'll be a blast!

5. Coming in July...
Our good friends at Ghost Road Theatre Company return for a run of its new original production, "Four Dervishes." The Sufi text, "The Tale of the Four Dervishes," Victorian spy Richard Burton, and modern troops collide in the desert to create a world at once mystical and real, magical and harsh; intimate moments weave an epic tale of culture and identity. Conceived and directed by Katharine Noon, inspired by "The Tale of the Four Dervishes" written by Tamadhur Al-Aqeel and Katharine Noon and developed thru workshop by The Ghost Road Company. The show opens July 9 at 8pm and runs Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 8pm thru August 2. For tickets and info, call (310) 281-8341 or visit http://www.ghostroad.org.
