Unlike
most 99-seat theatres, 24TH STREET THEATRE supplies
House Managers to offer you the most smooth performances
possible. We aim to present theatre patrons with a warm
and professional greeting more common in large theatres.
From our stage TV Monitor in our lobby, to our classy gallery
exhibits, to our Westminster Chimes to open houses and call
audiences back from intermission, we are dedicated to creating
an exciting and impressive experience for your audiences!
Here are some ways we let the audience know theyre
in good hands and impress them right away by creating ambience
and excitement:
Audiences come in through the large green carriage
doors, the most impressive entrance to the lobby.

A sidewalk bench (and ashtray) for extra convenience.
A 24th Street Gobo which audiences walk through upon entering. Hundreds of audience members have commented on how cool this is!
Music is played in our lobby pre-show as a deadly silent lobby is just creepy. Were happy to use specific music relevant to your show, if you like. Just give us the CD or tape and the 24th Street Theatre House Manager will make sure the lobby is alive with sound pre-show, post-show and during intermission.
The beautiful lobby bar lights are always plugged in during performances.
Signs are placed in the parking lot for easier access.
House Managers wear 24th Street nametags and are easily identifiable. |

The lobby Stage Monitor is turned on before the show (depending
on the production) and at intermissionanother feature
of most large theatres.
Concessions are offered and the lighted wooden
bar is often stock with Pepperidge Farm and Mrs. Fields
cookies, Chai Teas, cinnamon coffee and more.
Westminster
Chimes announce the house opening and end of intermission
instead of screaming that the House is open.
You neednt set up a tacky folding table
in the lobby for your box office. Instead the Box Office
is available to guest productions.
