SEATING
24th Street Theatre offers flexible seating which can be moved to suit into Proscenium, Round, Thrust, Proscenium Thrust, Alley or custom to your production. The seats are mounted to 4'x 8'
Steel deck platforms in groups of four.
Total Seating Capacity: 99 (in compliance with Actor's Equity 99-seat plan)
STAGE DIMENSIONS
The stage is about 55'x 48' (see floorplan). The actual playing area is dependant on the present seating configuration and number of seats used. The light grid is approx. 12' above the stage while the ceiling is 20' above the stage.
LIGHTING
CONTROL SYSTEMS
We have two lighting systems to choose from:
• NSI 24/48 programmable light board
• Dove Starport computer lighting control system
Both systems can be used independently, or together.
DIMMERS
We have seven NSI 4x1200w portable dimmer packs and one IPS 3x2400w dimmer pack with a total of 31 dimmers and an instrument capacity of 54 hard patched 500w fixtures.
NOTES
• NSI 4x1200w dimmer packs have a limit of 1800w per two consecutive dimmers. For example, each channel has the potential for 1200w output, however, channels 1 and 2 only have potential for 1800w total. A total of six 500w instruments may be used on each 4 channel NSI pack.
• Strobe lights may not be used on any of 24th Street's dimmers. They ruin DMX cable. Strobes can be plugged into wall circuits.
