Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) Program Administrator

Job Description

24th STreet Theatre has an outstanding opportunity for a bilingual (Spanish/English) arts administrator. As a strategic community builder you will help 24th STreet fully serve its Latino community. 24th Street Theatre is hiring a Program Coordinator to be the face of the organization as first contact with community members. This position administrates our arts education programs, community programs and provides general administrative support for day to day operations. This is a full-time hourly position, with full health care benefits, two weeks paid vacation, and a great creative familial working environment.

 Administrate community programs such as Teatro Del Pueblo and our annual Dia de los Muertos event
 Administrate our school field trip program and After ‘Cool program
 Serve as a liaison between students, staff and community members
 Create communications that go out to community members, parents, etc.
 Market and promote upcoming 24th Street Theatre events to community members
 Work with all other staffers to serve as the hub of the organization to ensure efficient overall operations

 Must be Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) and be able to write, read, and speak fluently in both languages.
 Strong public speaking, communication and writing skills
 Confident at communicating and creating connections with our majority Latino constituency
 Excellent Time management skills – able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
 Strong computer skills- Microsoft Office suite, CRM database experience, internet, and social media platforms
 Must have a car and valid CA driver’s license

BA in Arts Administration or 2 years previous program administration experience preferred and/or community organizing experience.
