LA’s BEST Theatre Arts Ed Program is BACK for the 23/24 school year; live and in person!
For Grades 2-8
This is the day your students fall in love with the art form of Live Theatre! Created by 24th Street Theatre’s education team and drawing on over 25 years in the field, programs are designed to cover California’s Arts Content Standards as well as Social Emotional Learning skills while immersing students in the world of live theatre.
The program includes:
Pre-Show Workshop: A world-class teaching artist comes to the classroom and introduces students to theatrical concepts aligned with the California Arts Content Standards!
Field Trip: Students are brought to a wildly fun and interactive field trip at 24th Street Theatre where they see the show Enter Stage Right (ESR). ESR catapults students from the ancient history of the theatre to contemporary multimedia production, and brings the magic of theatre to life through improvisation techniques and production components of set, sound, lights, video and live music.
