The Critics Have Spoken!

After a fantastic performance of Walking the Tightrope at the 2014 IPAY (International Performing Arts for Youth) conference, in Pittsburgh, Team Tightrope landed in LA to some great news: we have been nominated for 4 LA Drama Critics Circle (LADCC) Awards, including Best Production, Best Actor (Paige Lindsey White), Best Sound Design (John Zalewski) and Best Video Design (Matthew Hill). In the Best Production category, Tightrope is up against the Tony-nominated production of The Scottsboro Boys, directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Susan Stroman. We are also the only nominated TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) production. What a great welcome home gift! Thanks to the critics of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle for the honor. Después de una fantástica actuación de Walking the Tightrope en la Conferencia de Artes Escénicas Internacionales para Jóvenes (International Performing Arts for the Youth Showcase/IPAY), en Pittsburgh, el equipo de Tightrope aterrizó en Los Ángeles con una noticia más: hemos sido nominados en 4 categorías en los Premios LA Drama Critics Circle ( LADCC ), incluyendo el de Mejor Producción, Mejor Actor ( Paige Lindsey White ), Mejor Diseño de Sonido ( John Zalewski ) y Mejor Diseño de video ( Matthew Hill). En la Mejor Producción Tightrope se enfrenta a Scottsboro Boys, producción nominada a los Tony, dirigida y coreografiada por el ganador del premio Tony Susan Stroman. También somos la única producción nominada en TYA (Teatro para Audiencias Jóvenes). ¡Qué gran regalo de bienvenida! Gracias a los críticos de Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle por el honor.
