Enter Stage Right Field Trip Program
LA County’s BEST Theatre Arts Ed Program is here for the 26/27 school year; live and in person!
For Grades 2-8
This is the day your students fall in love with the art form of Live Theatre! Created by 24th Street Theatre’s education team and drawing on over 25 years in the field, programs are designed to cover California’s Arts Content Standards as well as Social Emotional Learning skills while immersing students in the world of live theatre.
The program includes:
Pre-Show or Encore Workshop: A world-class teaching artist comes to the classroom and introduces and engages students in theatrical concepts aligned with the California Arts Content Standards!
Field Trip: Students are brought to a wildly fun and interactive field trip at 24th Street Theatre where they see the show Enter Stage Right (ESR). ESR catapults students from the ancient history of the theatre to contemporary multimedia production, and brings the magic of theatre to life through improvisation techniques and production components of set, sound, lights, video and live music.

Kids love it. Teachers love it. Principals love it… YOU’LL love it!
“BRAVO!!!!! Absolutely wonderful. Engaging, focused, fun and sooo much more! The joy you brought the kids today just made my day.”
“Thank you so much for that wonderful presentation! I hadn’t planned on staying for the entire performance but it was so good that I couldn’t leave.”
“You masterfully wove SEL (really Transformative SEL) into a great class on history, theatre, human rights etc. and in the most engaging way I’ve seen yet.”
“I want to give a shout out to the 24th Street Theater! They have an amazing program that brings out the best in students...but they have created a safe, welcoming community that enables all students to take risks and become part of the theater community. Multiple staff are native Spanish speakers and Spanish is incorporated into their performances, so even if kids aren’t comfortable in English yet, they are still welcomed and celebrated! I honestly believe 24th Street Theater is changing lives! ”
