New Field Trip Grants / Nuevas Becas para Excursiones
We had no idea a decade ago when we created our Enter Stage Right arts ed field trip program that it would grow to serve tens of thousands of students and teachers in LA and be poised for a national tour in 2015. But it has. And it is. We are extremely proud of Enter Stage Right because no other theatre in the U.S. is engaging kids in the way we are with ESR. And we have some great news to share about our field trips for this school year. We’ve received two Arts Education grants which will cover nearly 70% of schools’ cost for our Enter Stage Right field trip program. Our grants even pay for the buses! We’re filling up fast though and already in this first week of school we have booked over half of our 50 field trip dates already. Nuevas Becas para Excursiones
Hace una década, cuando creamos nuestro Programa de Excursiones de Educación a las Artes Enter Stage Right, nunca pensamos que llegaría a crecer tanto como para servir a decenas de miles de estudiantes y profesores en LA y que se estuviera preparando para una gira nacional en el 2015, pero así es, es un hecho. Estamos muy orgullosos de Enter Stage Right porque ningún otro teatro en los EE.UU. está involucrando a los niños en la forma en que nosotros lo estamos haciendo con ESR. ¡Nadie! Y tenemos una gran noticia para compartir acerca de nuestros viajes de estudio para este año escolar. Hemos recibido dos subvenciones (becas) de educación artística que cubrirán casi el 70% del costo de los viajes de las escuelas a nuestro Programa Enter Stage Right. ¡Nuestras becas incluso pagan por los autobuses! Estamos llenando rápidamente la lista y en esta primera semana de clases ya hemos reservado más de la mitad de las 50 excursiones de este año.
