Arts Learning Plan

Live Assemblies, 45 minutes each

  • Live Assembly 1: Introduction to the theatre, developing empathy, storytelling skills, using tableau

  • Live Assembly 2: Social justice, history, conflict + characters, using pantomime

  • Video Lesson 2: You’ve Got Character - Developing empathy and exploring the different roles in theatre

  • Video Lesson 3: Imagination, Superstition & the Magic of Theater - Discovering the mysteries from centuries past and modern technology in theatre

  • Video Lesson 4: You’re Making a Scene - Story structure, dialogue, and exploration of social justice issues and Social Emotional Learning
